(Day 5) I felt a bit of a happy buzz. I'm not really sure how to explain it. Thanks to the blog I did get in my walk, which I would usually post-pone because of the fine mist. Because of the fine mist I didn't hit the hills the way I wanted too. It was best that I did a short walk anyway, with my a re-occurring foot problem. I felt really great, and ready to accomplish great things..... However in the afternoon during my daughters nap I crashed. I was out cold. My daughter is 3 and she really is mentally exhausting to me. She has a lot of spirit, and is still learning how to control her vigor for life. She has really learned how to tell me off, the way no 3 year old should know how to do. It is difficult for me not to re-act. ( I think I have in the past because she repeats all the things I say to her ) So, I can say I know I re-act because sometimes it's just easier, and when I'm exhausted or run down I almost always choose the easy way.
I talked with my neighbor who started the same day I did, and he said "this stuff really works". I asked him for some examples since I haven't really noticed a huge difference besides my happy buzz, which could just be that kind of day. He said he felt so energized he was doing things around his house he would never think of doing. Things like scrubbing the grout in his kitchen, and tearing apart the guest room to spring clean it. He also mentioned that he just felt happier, which makes me really relate my happy buzz to the vitality.
The rumor is, people are up later than usual. A friend of mine said she felt concerned that she might not be able to fall asleep because of how wide awake she was one evening at midnight. (usually her bedtime is 10-10:30) She said once she laid down she didn't even remember trying to fall asleep, she was just out. Last night that was not my story, it took me a while to fall asleep, and I woke up 2 or 3 times which is not usual for me at all! It was a cool night, and I was chilly so maybe that had something to do with it. All I can say is I usually sleep really good and get 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. There was a lot on my mind because of a really big day that I was going to wake up to. This was not a good night to not sleep well!
That pretty much sum's up my day 5. I'm not sure why I napped, since I usually don't, and I'm not sure why I couldn't sleep at night since I'm usually a sleeping pro! I chalk it off to my body starting to make some new adjustments, because something feels different, I'm just not sure how to explain what's happening.
